Bringing Project Management to Life

Bringing Project Management to Life is a project supported by the Higher Education Academy (HEA) subject centre for Information and Computer Sciences (ICS) in conjunction with Microsoft in the UK. The work carried out on this project has been undertaken by staff at the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), Active Learning in Computing (ALiC) at Durham University, England, along with the Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) research group.The motivation for this project is to enhance the student experience of Project Management topics in ICS-subject degrees in Higher Education.Giving students some element of real-world experiences of some elements of software engineering is relatively straight forward, whereas giving them experiences of project management is hard. This project utilises video interviews of practicing project managers to relay some of the experiences of project management to students.Click here for the index of films.
